About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Film District Parties & Private Functions Filming, trading as Film District Dubai, a sole establishment licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (licence 606867), at Al Makateb Building, Office 117, 1st Floor, Al Quoz 3, PO Box 64971, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Film District”, “we”), for the use of FDD Transfers (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you use it for a company, you accept them for that company.

Your account
- You need to be at least 18. Sign-in is by a code sent to your email, or with Google; keep access to that email safe.
- You’re responsible for what happens in your account and your projects, including what the people you share with and the cameras you connect do there.
- Camera logins and share links give access to your projects. Share them only with people you trust, and remove them when they’re no longer needed.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. It’s kept for 14 days; signing in again in that time lets you restore it or start fresh.
Plans and payment
- Plans give an amount of storage and are paid monthly or yearly in US dollars, through Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and include card fees and UAE VAT at 5% (Film District’s TRN is 100275776100003); invoices show the VAT included.
- A plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you turn renewal off in Billing. When renewal is off, the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. A one-month plan doesn’t renew.
- Payments aren’t refunded for the part of a period you don’t use, unless the law requires it.
- We may change prices. A new price applies from your next renewal, and we’ll email you before it does.
- People you share projects with don’t need a plan of their own.
Storage
- Everything in your projects, including files in Trash, counts against your account’s storage.
- If your account is over its storage, or a payment fails, your projects become read-only and we email you. If it isn’t fixed within 14 days, the files in those projects are deleted for good.
- Deleted files, folders, projects and cameras can be restored from Trash for 14 days, and most changes can be undone from Activity for 14 days.
- Keep your own copies of anything important. The service is a way to move and share files, not a backup.
Your content
Your files stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy, process and deliver them only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share with (for example, to make previews and thumbnails). You confirm that you have the rights to upload and share what you put in the service.
Download to drive adds files to the folder you choose on your computer. It doesn’t delete or move files there; it replaces a file only when you confirm it.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to:
- store or share anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
- spread malware, or try to get into accounts, projects or systems that aren’t yours;
- overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits;
- resell the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, or remove content when the law requires it. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
The service
We work to keep the service running and your files safe, with a backup camera server ready to take over. Even so, it’s provided “as is”: we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and cameras, networks and devices outside our control can fail. We may change or improve features over time, and we’ll tell you in advance about changes that take away something you rely on.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost work or a delayed production. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end the service for an account with 30 days’ notice, or at once for a serious breach of these terms. If we end it without a breach on your part, you’ll have time to download your files.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai decide any dispute that we can’t settle together first.
Changes and contact
