Use case

Remote editing: footage to an editor anywhere

The shoot is in one city and the editor in another. Clips arrive in the project as they’re shot, and download to the editor’s drive by themselves.

How it works

  1. Create a project

One for each shoot, with its dates. Add the editor with Editor access.

  2. Send the footage

Cameras send over FTP as they shoot, or drag the clips from a card onto the page.

  3. The editor picks a folder

On their own computer. New files download into it as they arrive, sorted the same way.

Why crews use it

  • Every file in the right folder

Footage, audio, stills and documents each go to the folders that take them.

  • Watch it in the browser

Video, photos, PDFs and documents preview right in the project, before anyone downloads.

  • Nothing lost by mistake

Deleted files, folders and projects wait in Trash for 14 days.
