Use case

Send proxies to the editor as you shoot

The camera records a small proxy of every clip and sends it over Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot as it shoots. The editor starts cutting while you’re still on set.

How it works

  1. Turn on proxies

Set the camera to record a proxy with every clip and send only the proxies. Small files go over the air in seconds.

  2. They land in the project

Each camera has its own folder. New proxies download to the editor’s drive by themselves.

  3. Originals from the card

After the shoot, upload the originals from the card. Each is paired with its proxy by name, ready to relink.

Why crews use it

  • Any camera that sends over FTP

Sony, Canon, Nikon, Blackmagic, RED and more, over FTP or SFTP. Each camera gets its own login.

  • Only adds to the editor’s drive

Download to drive puts new files in the folder they picked. It never deletes anything there.

  • The whole post team, free

No per-seat fees: add editors and assistants as they’re needed. Only the owner pays for storage.
